The home of Professor Rene Cassin, president of the Alliance Israelite Universelle, was blown up early this morning presumably by terrorists of the illegal French underground army, the OAS. Professor Cassin escaped injury in the blast.

The offices of the Movement Against Racism and For Peace, was also the target of an OAS attack this morning. Observers suggested that Prof. Cassin was attacked because he served as vice-president of the Constitutional Council named by President De Gaulle and is known as a strong supporter of the de Gaulle Government.
