The Israel High Court of Justice today rejected a request for an order nisi calling on Moshe Haim Shapiro, the Minister of the Interior, to show cause why he should not rescind an order expelling from Israel, Berl Farkas, a Jew wanted by Interpol, the international police organization.

Farkas, who is sought by Interpol and police forces of half a dozen countries around the world for theft and swindles, stowed away on an Israeli liner in Marseilles, France, and arrived in Haifa on July 15. He immediately claimed immigrant status under the Law of Return. He will presumably be deported on the first ship leaving for France.
