Prospecting for oil in several areas of Israel will be began soon by a new American firm, the Asher Corporation, it was announced here today by Wesley Hancock of Wilmington, Del., one of the heads of the firm. The Asher Corporation, will drill for oil on the western slopes of Lower Galilee, in the Jezreel Valley and on Mount Carmel, Mr. Hancock said.
