German Judge Suspended from Post; Charged with Killing Smolensk Jews

Kiel officials said today that Ernest Ehlers, a former SS officer, had been suspended from his post as a judge at the administrative court at Schleswig after he was charged with participation in wartime mass executions in the occupied city of Smolensk.
