A special committee was named today at the Jewish Agency plenary session here to deal with the problem of the reorganization of the American Zionist Council after the issue was reviewed by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, World Zionist Organization president who presided.
The plenary also heard a report from Jewish Agency treasurer A. L. Pincus, who presented a budget proposal for the 1963-64 fiscal year. The plenary also discussed the agenda for the next Zionist Actions Committee meeting which will be held in Jerusalem in March.
Another major topic on the plenary agenda is that of establishing a joint Agency-Government authority to deal with problems of immigration from the free countries. A coordinating committee of the Agency will meet tomorrow with the participation of Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and Dr. Goldmann.
