The Dutch Parliament today approved the Netherlands-German treaty providing for payment by Germany of 125,000,000 marks ($31,250,000) compensation to victims of Nazism in the Netherlands during World War II. Most of those eligible for this compensation are Jewish. A number of Socialist and Communist deputies voted against ratification of the treaty on the grounds that the sum provided was not adequate.
