The Connecticut Jewish Community Relations Council put on record today objections to the Padula-Shea bill, now before a legislative committee, to change the state’s Sunday closing law.
Jerome Wagner of Bloomfield, CRC president, told a General Law Committee hearing on the measure that Sabbatarian exemptions in effect in Connecticut for many years were threatened by the bill in its present form.
