Isaac Gottlieb of the United States and Daniel Goldmitz of Canada will represent the Jewish youth in the United States and Canada, respectively, at the World Bible Contest for Jewish Youth, to take place in Jerusalem today. The World Bible Contest for Jewish Youth is sponsored by the Society for Bible Research in Israel and the Education and Culture Department of the Jewish Agency.
Isaac Gottlieb, the winner of the first prize in the Second Annual National Bible Contest in the United States–organized by the Education and Culture Department of the American Section of the Jewish Agency executive–is a native of Brooklyn, 17 years of age. The Canadian winner is Daniel Goldmitz of Montreal, 15 years old, a student at the Herzliah High School in Montreal.
