A village will be established in Israel to honor Brooklyn residents who have contributed generously to fund campaigns on behalf of the Jewish State, according to an announcement made here today by State Senator William Rosenblatt, president of the Jewish National Fund’s Brooklyn Division.

Funds for the village, to be known as Brooklyn village in Israel, will be raised through the sale of special stamps in Jewish centers throughout the borough during the High Holy Days, next month.
