On behalf of President Lyndon Johnson, Governor Edmund G. Brown of California presented Eddie Cantor, a prominent actor, a certificate of commendation for his distinguished service to the nation during a career which has spanned over half a century. The certificate was presented to Mr. Cantor, whose efforts in behalf of Jewish causes have been unlimited, at his Beverly Hills home.
