Princess Margaret opened the new day center of the Jewish Blind Society in North London today with praise for the “wonderful results” which the Jewish community so often achieved “through its generosity and resourcefulness.”
Mrs. James de Rothschild, president of the society, welcomed the Princess. She said all members of the society were delighted that the Princess had agreed to open the new center. The Princess, who was received with an enthusiastic ovation by the large audience, said she was “delighted” to be present.
