The Manitoba Bar Association has called on the Canadian Government to enact legislation to halt the dissemination of hate literature throughout the country. In a resolution adopted by the Association’s Council, the Government was urged “forthwith to take all appropriate steps to amend the Criminal Code of Canada and all other relevant statutes to prohibit the dissemination of ‘hate literature’ and effectively to bring its disseminators to justice.”
