Mendel Fisher, for 25 years executive director of the Jewish National Fund in American, was named an honorary citizen today by the Ein Harod community council. The honor came as work was scheduled to begin on the Mendel Fisher Student House at the Ein Harod Art Center, a project initiated by the B’nai Zion in honor of Mr. Fisher’s quarter of a century of work for the JNF which he continues to serve as a consultant.
