Michigan Civil Rights Commission Tightens Compliance on Housing

The Michigan Civil Rights Commission today signed agreements with six Federal housing agencies to ensure their cooperation in enforcing compliance with Federal and state regulations prohibiting discrimination in housing. The agreements provide for specific procedures in efforts to resolve complaints of discrimination where both the Commission and one of the agencies have jurisdiction.
