The Israeli Army spokesman reported today that two El Fatah infiltrators were killed last night in an attempted raid on a pumping installation, the third such raid in as many nights.
The infiltrators were headed toward the installation near Amatzia, about two miles from the Jordanian border, but were stopped by Israeli fire and killed. Two El Fatah terrorists were killed in a smuggling attempt Tuesday night in the central Negev. In each case, evidence pointed to Jordan as the source of the infiltrations. Israel again filed a protest with the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission.
