Wilhelm Burger, 61, the principal defendant in the “smaller” Auschwitz death camp trial here, admitted in court today that he knew the Cyklon B gas shipped to the camp was used to kill inmates. He also admitted that he had traveled to Berlin with the valuables taken from Jews murdered in gas vans.
