Services will be held here tomorrow for William Siegel a noted Yiddish playwright and theatrical personality, who died here at the age of 73. He was the author of some 150 works for the Yiddish stage.
Born Volvel Herzog in Lithuania, Mr. Siegel came to the United States in 1906 and began acting on the Yiddish stage a decade later. Most of his plays were comedies performed by the leading Yiddish theatrical companies.
