An audience packing one of the largest auditoriums in this Belgian city attended tonight the closing session of the sixth European Symposium on Yiddish. The gathering, which opened in the capital, Brussels, on Sunday, considered every phase of Yiddish literature around the world, including the impact of Yiddish in the Soviet Union, Israel and North and South American continents. Leading Jewish scholars, authors and poets participated. Tonight’s meeting was held under the auspices of the Antwerp Zionist Federation.
