Mexico’s Foreign Minister Pledges to Work for Securing Arab-israel Peace

Mexico’s Foreign Minister Antonio Carrillo Flores declared here today, in a statement to the press, that the Mexican Government is doing all it can, at the United Nations, to help bring about peace between Israel and the Arab states. He expressed the hope that ways will be worked out to effect an Israeli-Arab peace formula.

At the same time, Senator Fidel Velasquez, secretary general of the Federation of Mexican Workers, sent a cable to Aharon Becker, secretary-general of Histadrut, the Israeli federation of labor, pledging support of organized labor in this country for Israel’s cause during the current crisis.
