Robert S. Benjamin, chairman of the board of United Artists Corp., was nominated a member of the United States delegation to the United Nations for the forthcoming General Assembly opening Sept. 19. Mr. Benjamin is active in the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute and many other Jewish causes.
