Former Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion will celebrate his 81st birthday at Sde Boker next Sunday, the Negev village where Israel’s elder statesman makes his home. The occasion will be marked by the dedication of a new teachers’ seminary at the Sde Boker educational center. Some 100 prominent figures from all walks of life will be on hand to offer their felicitations to Mr. Ben-Gurion.
