A Negro State Senator said here today that talk about anti-Semitism among Negroes applies only to a small group of militants and is not characteristic of the Negro community as a whole.

Sen. Mervyn D. Dynally, the only Negro legislator in the State’s upper house, made his remarks at a press conference following his return from a 10-day visit to Israel which, he said, impressed him greatly. Senator Dynally had particular praise for Israel’s program of international cooperation and the work of Histadrut’s Afro-Asian Institute.
