Israel Labor Ministry Reports 2,800 Drop in Jobless in January

The number of unemployed in Israel dropped by 2,800 between December, 1967 and January, 1968, according to provisional figures released by the Ministry of Labor here today. The Ministry also reported that 27,500 persons had registered with labor exchanges. The drop in jobless was attributed largely to employment in the citrus groves during the harvest season.
