The retirement of Dr. Samuel M. Blumenfield as director of the department of education and culture of the Jewish Agency-American Section, was announced yesterday at a luncheon in his honor tendered by the Jewish Agency. Dr. Blumenfield will resume his academic career and will serve as a consultant to the Hebrew Culture Foundation.
