An artillery and mortar duel between Israeli and Jordanian units broke out last night along the Jordan River demarcation line and continued into the morning, a military spokesman reported today, Kfar Ruppin in the Beisan Valley and surrounding fields were hit with several mortar rounds. No casualties or damage were reported.
