Distinguished parliamentarians and Jewish leaders paid tribute here last night to the late Sydney Silverman, Laborite MP, at a memorial meeting arranged by the British Section of the World Jewish Congress. Mr. Silverman was eulogized by Mrs. Barbara Castle, first secretary of state, and by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Jewish Congress.
