Premier Eshkol Slated to Visit United States in December En Route to Latin America

Prime Minister Levi Eshkol may make a brief visit to the United States in December on his way to Brazil and Argentina where he has been officially invited. Government circles said that Mr. Eshkol would confer with President Johnson, who leaves office next Jan. 20. Reports that he might also meet the President-elect were not confirmed.

(The Argentine Foreign Ministry announced in Buenos Aires that Mr. Eshkol would visit there between Dec. 5 and 10, accompanied by Mrs. Eshkol. The announcement said that he would discuss various aspects of relations between his country and Argentina, particularly cooperation in science and technology.)
