An obviously unrepentant former Nazi security policeman, on trial in Munich for the mass murder of Polish Jews between 1939 and 1943, interrupted a witness’ testimony today with shouts of “freedom for Germany.” The witness said that while in Chelm, Poland, he had seen Hugo Raschendorfer personally shoot three Jews. The investigation disclosed that while Raschendorfer was in prison prior to his trial, he had sung the Nazi “Horst Wessel” song several times.
