Former Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion of Israel arrived here yesterday on a seven-day visit to Brazil during which he was scheduled to be received by President Costa e Silva at the capital in Brasilia. Plans for a mass reception at the airport were scrapped for security reasons but within a few hours of his arrival, Mr. Ben-Gurion had an enthusiastic meeting with some 1,500 Brazilian Jewish youth. He told them that they had to learn Hebrew because “the greatest danger to the Jewish people is the lack of a common language and understanding.”
