Rabbi Nahum L. Rabinovitch, of Toronto, Canada, has been appointed as the new principal of Jews College here, it was announced today by the office of Chief Rabbi Immanuel Jakobovitz. He will take up his post in the spring of 1971. Rabbi Rabinovitch, 41, presently occupies a pulpit in Toronto and is a lecturer in mathematics at Toronto University. He is a co-editor of the American Rabbinic Journal and is regarded as an expert on halacha, Jewish religious law.
