Israeli planes attacked Egyptian positions along the Suez Canal again today. The targets included artillery and mortar positions, infantry outposts and fortifications. Israeli planes also struck Jordanian positions for 20 minutes this afternoon in response to firings on El Hamma this morning. All planes returned safely. An Israeli soldier was injured this morning in Djabel Rouss, on the slopes of Mount Hermon, by mortar fire from Lebanese territory. The fire was returned. A number of hen-filled sheds in Alkosh settlement near the Lebanese border were damaged last night by explosions. An investigation is under way. Eleven Arab residents of Judea and Samaria were turned over to Jordan at al-Safi, near the southern tip of the Dead Sea, after being detained on charges of collaborating with the enemy. (Reports from Amman last night said some guerrilla forces have declared their intention of firing on United Nations forces attempting to enforce a cease-fire.)
