A source close to Foreign Minister Walter Scheel has told the JTA that Nazi criminal Karl Friedrich Vialon continues unofficially as chief political adviser to Mr. Scheel, although he is not attached to any Ministry. Vialon was state secretary to Mr. Scheel when the latter was Minister for Economic Development in the Adenauer cabinet. During the war Vialon gave orders for the transfer of Jews from ghettos to concentration camps. He also signed documents for the seizure of Jewish property.
