Soviet anti-Semitism was likened to that which prevailed in the Fascist countries during the 1930s in a report on the situation of Soviet Jews published here by the Socialist International. The report said there was no basic solution for the problem of Soviet Jews within the Soviet frontiers and appealed to the Soviet authorities to halt their anti-Semitic campaign. According to the document, Soviet anti-Semitism has degenerated to a primitive level in recent years, reminiscent of the Fascist countries of the thirties.
