The Association of Jewish Journalists and Authors of Great Britain met here last night to observe the 20th anniversary of the execution of 23 prominent Jewish poets and writers in the Soviet Union during the Stalin era. The meeting denounced anti-Jewish, anti-Israel resolutions adopted at the recent Congress of Soviet Writers. The Association also urged Soviet authorities to grant exit visas to the widow and son of Poretz Markish, one of the victims of the Stalin purge.
