A strike by employes of Government hospitals spread today to the Municipal Hospital in Haifa where physicians have refused to work in the out-patient clinics unless they receive special pay. Labor and management representatives met today but reached no settlement on the Government hospital strike. Another meeting was scheduled for next Monday. The strike involves administrative and service employes. Patients are being fed but no meals are provided for staff physicians. In some hospitals employes are performing only the minimum work necessary to keep the hospitals open. The strike began last month but was halted two weeks ago by a back-to-work order from the Knesset. When the order expired yesterday, the walk-out was resumed.
