Venezuelan Chief-of-Staff Gen. Roberto Morean Soto left Israel yesterday after a nine-day visit as a guest of the Israeli Defense Forces. A farewell reception was hosted by his Israeli counterpart. Gen. Haim Bar-Lev. Soto gave Bar-Lev a shield bearing the emblem of the Venezuelan General Headquarters, and received in return a silver box engraved with the crest of the IDF.
