Prof. Chaim Perelman, a prominent member of the Belgian Jewish community, has been elected president of the International Association for Social Philosophy. Prof. Perelman, who teaches at the Free Brussels University, also serves as Secretary General of the Belgian Friends of the Hebrew University and as vice-president of the Belgian-Israeli Friendship League.
