The dedication of a Jewish National Fund forest named for Philip and Anna Slomovitz took place today in the Judean hills. The first cypress saplings out of a projected 10,000 were planted by Mr. and Mrs. Slomovitz and friends from the Jewish community of Detroit, Mich, who contributed toward the forest. Slomovitz is editor and publisher of the Detroit Jewish News and a vice-president of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
