Rabbi Israel Mowshowitz, past president of the New York Board of Rabbis, arrived yesterday in Teheran as the guest of the Shah to participate in the celebration of the 2,500th birthday of Iran. It was announced by Rabbi Harold I. Saporstein Board president. Rabbi Mowshowitz, who will represent the New York Board of Rabbis, is the only American rabbi invited to the celebration.
