Members of all Dutch parties represented in Parliament, except the Communists, today sent a cable to the Cabinet demanding that the Netherlands should act on behalf of Syrian Jews. The cable stated that the Jews of Syria should be allowed to leave that country, or at least be safe from torture and persecutions.
