The Cabinet today empowered Israel’s ambassador in Paris, Asher Ben Natan, to conclude the negotiations with the French government over the return to France of 50 Mirage fighter planes purchased by Israel but held in France under the arms embargo imposed in 1967 by President Charles De Gaulle.
