Officials reported today the arrest of 50 Arab residents of Hebron after authorities discovered an attempt to sabotage Kiryat Arba, Hebron’s Jewish section. A bomb hidden near a transformer was discovered when it began smoking. It was removed without causing any damage. The officials said it was the first sabotage attempt in Kiryat Arba since the section was established.
