Tax Cuts for Area Settlers

The Treasury announced today larger tax concessions for Jews going to settle across the Green Line. Settlers in the Gaza Strip and the West Bunk will be exempt on their first 11.600 per month, while settlers in the Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights, Sinat, Hchron and the Etzion bloc will be exempt on 11 750. This compares to current exemptions of 11.400 and 11. 600 respectively, These exemptions are in addition to regular wife-and-children exemptions which all Israelis receive.
