The police have asked drivers who buy gasoline at night to buy a “round price” quantity and pay in small banknotes. “Round price” buying, IL 10 or 20worth, would eliminate the need for the attendant to carry cash for change and would thus be less of a target for robbers. Gas station holdups have proliferated in Israel in recent years.
