Yosef Almogi, chairman of the World Zionist Organization Executive, said in Basle this week that Israel was on the eve of vital discussions which would affect the future of the State and the Zionist movement. He addressed 100 delegates from 12 countries at a European Zionist Conference representing fraternal delegates from the World Sephardi Federation, Maccabi, World Union of Jewish Students, Keren, Hayesod, WIZO and the World Jewish Congress. Dr. Gerhard Riegner the secretary general of the WJC was present.
