A terrorist bombing was avoided here this morning thanks to the wariness of a former policeman who spotted the device and alerted the bomb squad. The incident took place in the southern suburb of Talpiot Mizrach. The bomb was lying on the sidewalk, outside a grocery store. Police called once again on residents of the capital to keep their eyes open for all suspicious objects.
