Members of Parliament representing virtually all political factions have signed a petition to plant a forest in Israel in memory of Leon Klinghoffer “and all victims of international terrorism.”
Klinghoffer was the elderly American Jew murdered by Palestinian terrorists who seized the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro in Egyptian Waters last October. The petition was signed by MPs of the Christian Democratic Party, the Communist Party, the Liberals, Radical Republicans, Socialist and Social Democratic parties.
