The centuries-old Peking Opera will perform in Israel next May.
The famous Chinese company signed a contract in Belgium Sunday with Bidur La’am, the Israeli impresarios who are promoting the one-week tour.
Details will be worked out when its representatives visit Peking in December. The 30 member Chinese troupe appeared at the Edinburgh Festival this year and had performed in the United States in 1987.
