Five Hebrew University students left Jerusalem this week for a year’s study in China. Their program will include learning the country’s language and culture.
The students are part of an exchange program established by the Israeli Foreign Ministry, the Chinese delegation to the United Nations and the Israel Academy of Sciences.
Hebrew University is already playing host to five graduate students from China.
The Israeli students got a send-off from Dr. Meir Zadok, Hebrew University’s academic director. He said he hoped the program would lead to broader exchange of scientists and researchers.
