The two most outspoken hard-line ministers of Likud have lost popularity, while the three senior members of the Cabinet have gained, according to the latest opinion poll taken here.

Housing Minister Ariel Sharon and Finance Minister Yitzhak Moda’i fell in public regard by 3.3 and 6 percent respectively since a previous poll taken a month ago.

Moda’i is, in fact, the last popular of all ministers.

The most popular is Defense Minister Moshe Arens, whose rating increased by 5.5 percent in the survey conducted by the Public Opinion Research Institute. A representative sampling of 1,200 adults all over the country was polled.

Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir’s popularity rose by 2.6 percent while Foreign Minister David Levy was 0.7 percent more popular.
